list?

I hope this isnt taken the wrong way by anyone, but is it possible to create a permanent list of who is fair and hoones in their dealings and who isnt well...forthright?

Nothing wrong with the idea -- that's what the Good, the Bad, the Ugly is all about.

The last time this went around, though, I ended up thinking that a list might be hard to maintain (I guess it would have to be alphabetized) and a quick Search could find you any specific name you might be interested in, anyway.

Besides, a plain entry on a list would only be a yes or no. Many of the posts give a little more information on what went wrong, which is not always deliberate or fraudulent. We have a couple of very reliable nice guy members doing business here these days who started out embarrassed by some mistakes they made -- and corrected.

A list wouldn't show the multiple names and scams of the few really bad news characters who crop up periodically.

Some guys do post lists of their own, which are funny when they stretch on and on and on ...

Shouldn't be very hard to implement for people who know how to set up a database, but I think the server is already pretty maximum capacity...
