Little Pig Sticker

Very nice Nick. I like the copper spacers. My house might be missing some flashing tomorrow. Or maybe my neighbors house. LOL

Thanks fellas!!! :)

Tad- It was GREAT to finally meet you face to face! I really enjoyed getting to spend some time bs'ing with you, and am an even bigger fan of your work now that I have had a chance to see firsthand that it looks as brilliant in hand as it does in photos, as well as FEELS so good in hand!!!

Okay Mr. Quesenberry (pronounced QUIZ-en-berry for the uninformed! ;))... we had the discussion about no flawless knives!!! :grumpy: :p :D

I probably could have had this one done for BLADE, but I didn't have a table and didn't want to get labeled as a brown bagger. :thumbdn: I was just so frick'n happy to get to be able to spend time behind Mike's table with his Ms test knives and wandering around seeing/making friends, that I was as giddy as a school girl. :D

Marc- I thank you much, but if you want to see how high that bar has been set, please check out pics of the work that my friends like Mike Q, John White, Russ Andrews, John Horrigan.... (the list goes onnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn....) put out!!! It is extremely humbling to see what these fine men create!!!

Cajun- I believe what you have there is not a little pig sticker, rather a little pig that has been stuck! :p :D Rest assured, this blade would be up for such a sticking as well as a bit bigger one. ;) :)

I have seen the work of those gentlemen. I am speechless and properly awed. Maybe most of your pieces are not as highly embellished as works by the other gentlemen but clean, uncluttered and precise has it's own following. Sometimes a knife described only by the careful execution of its pure form and fanatic attention to the smallest detail is as beautiful as it gets.

LOL! You right, but I was talking about the guy in the orange shirt that stuck the pig ;) He's a little pig sticker

NICE! but That's a BIG pig sticker!

This is a little pig sticker :p

That is cowardly, barbaric, and uncivilized. You may think it looks cool to hold the head of another sentient being in your palm, but it's backwards, thoughtless, and regressive. At least let this be a discussion point. It deserves that.

LMAO! :p It's a nuisance species:thumbdn:, they aren't indigenous:thumbdn:, they destroy Billions in farm lands annually:thumbdn: and it's my heritage as a Cajun and provides food for my family:thumbup:. Also, I love the feeling I get when I dispatch a soulless life with a Blade:thumbup: vs a gun or a bow. It's much more intimate:thumbup:. Call me what you will but I'm sure you'd retract the cowardly description face to face pretty dern quick:cool:.... I DGAF about much anyone thinks. ;)

All the mushiness around this place, us men could all use a little edginess every now and again to hype things up and get a good laugh. It's all good.

Did you see how Sikk the Knife is that Nick made specifically for the task? Check it yo. Maybe you can provide some relevant feedback?

Not in this forum it doesn't. Take it to Whine & Cheese if you must.

I don't think I'd retract anything, face to face or any other way. What you said sounds like a bully's threat, and that's the most cowardly of them all. If you really wanted to provide for your family, you might think of a more ethical way of doing it. If the animal is truly a nuisance, you might look for root causes instead of mindless brutality. I'm not asking for immediate change. A bit of compassion and reflection would be nice. Your masculinity is an anachronism.

You sir are a wordsmith!

At least your handle fits your persona.... Don't go away mad, just go away. :)

In my state hogs are so bad you can kill them any time any place with any thing. No liscence needed. All the state wants to know is where you kill them so they can track the population. All hogs are genetically from some domesticed animal in China...they are wild but not natural animals in any habitat. They define the word vermin. Great knife, please sell it someone who will use it for it's named purpose.

It is a poor show indeed to post such things in order to shock or ellicit reaction. Especially in an open forum in polite company.
That being said, discuss the topic Not each other or the thread will be closed.

You must be in Missouri... When I got my turkey tags we were told that if we see a feral hog to take care of it on sight.

Awesome and I am surexcited it will excel at the intended purpose of dispatching pigs. Should not be anything shocking about that.

Frankly, it's too long to be used as a hog hunter. I'd bet most guides wouldn't let you use it, as there's too much risk of over-penetration and possible injury to the catch dogs. Therefore I wouldn't suggest this knife be used for hog hunting - it's not ethical to risk hurting puppies. Better, Dork...?

Nice one, brother. We should talk thermal cycle/tempering practices on blades like this some time.

Karda, I understand your position, but I think the post in question is not necessarily lacking in tact the way it's being implied it is. If he were holding a no-fly tape strip covered in deer flies, would we feel any different about it?
