As long as the lock doesn't fail when the knife is used for its intended purpose I'm good. So a tactical folder lock had best hold up when the knife is used to cut or stab an assailant with serious intent. If it collapses when I'm trying to hack down a phone pole or chop through a railroad spike with it I've got no room to gripe.
