Lone Star Hunter

Its suprising how well it fits in the pocket. The slim smooth contours make it more comfortable sticking my hand in my pocket than my manix 2 or stretch. The clip design also helps keep the knife towards the outside edge of the pocket instead of just straight up and down the the spydercos I own which helps create more room in the pocket.

Amazon.com

Wow. The seller won't ship here. I think this is the saltiest I have ever been about knives....

I did, at the very least, find a cheaper price from someone who does than I would have paid to buy it off my usual preferred store, so looking wasn't a waste. I guess I know what my next knife is!

You won't be disappointed. Let us know what you think when you get it.

What does America lite mean, you are in Canada ?

Yeah, in the city, away from everything that (in my opinion) makes this country great. I hope to move to a more rural area once I'm a little more established.

No prob bud. The reason I asked is because I know of a knife deal that you might be interested in up here, or not. I grew up just outside of T.O., luckily enough in a rural area. I like both environments actually, but I need some back and forth. I lived in an isolated region in the north and ended up getting satellite tv, like most of the natives there did.

Thanks for the heads up, man! Looks like the LSH will have to wait just a little while, because I'm jumping on that deal.

I personally could do without TV; I tend to use the Internet to watch things, but even then, I'd rather be taking in some crisp winter woods air with a good blade on my belt and my dog at my side.

I carried mine today...

Sketchen made those scales exactly to my order. The guy does amazing work.

Took the scales off today. I think I like it. Its as thin as the Code 4 now.

I will take the scales off too! This is amazing knife for money, little heavy but amazing performance.Aus8 by CS performs and sharpens same as carbon steel, just doesn't rust easily. This folder is for heavy duty use,I put mine through hell and no issues.Blade is long and cuts like crazy with convex edge I put on it.CS beats most if not all other companies in value for money toughness and actual performance department!

Just scored one of these for 29 bux shipped. I will also be pullin a Texas by takin off the plastic bullshit scales. Looks like you gone n formed urself a small army, Tex...

Due to this thread, I pulled the trigger on the LSH too. Really love it! Now I wish I could find a good deal on a Mackinac with thumb studs.

Rock solid knife, I might be getting Mackinac hunter too, amazing value and performance.Feels more solid than most knives that cost 2-3 x more.

I can attest.

Well as you know, I got mine in. Im not gonna bother posting a picture. Named it Alexis. Some of you might know where I went with that.

Oh and as an added tip, I took 3 of the screws from the scales and screwed them into left side pocket clip holes for added extraction traction. Also adds something extra to feel during use.

Strange, being completely smooth stainless steel, it is somehow less slick than the Code 4.

Balance bud. It is easy to get into a lathered up buying frenzy. I know, I've done it a few times, lol. But I do recommend grabbing something if it is being discontinued and you really want it. Otherwise, odds are that it will still be there months or a year from now.
