Long pull or short pull, what's your preference?

Definitely like my Sheepfoot long pull, and wouldn't mind Charlie doing another run of these.

Don't Swiss Army knives mostly have short pulls? :p

I like this one too.

And I agree...they are beautiful on a spearpoint!!!

I like the aesthetics of the long pull. In functionality I find the nick to be more comfortable, might be how my nails are shaped, I dunno. I feel that I get more of a purchase on a nice deep nail nick. Now, a long pull with an EO Notch is my cup o' tea..

I like the look of a long pull more often than not, but it does depend on the blade shape. I don't find them any more or less easy to use though.

Long pull usually. Blade shape comes into it.

Blues used to post spear blades with long pulls and swedges that reminded me of an old train. Can't get much More awesome than that.

Looks like I prefer the nail nick 2~1 over the long pull. I think more knives look better with a nick as well. But. Will add that this is GEC specific, they do such a perfect, deep, up angled nick that it is just a pleasure to open.

This is not set it stone though. Sometimes a long pull comes along and well, it just looks right and I have to have it :)
