Long pull or short pull, what's your preference?

Yes it does depend on the knife/blade, Wharncliffes don't look right with LP to my eye.

It also depends on the spring strength too. A deep struck and far forward placed crescent nick makes opening easier on a strongly sprung knife than does a Longpull.

Depends on the knife.

It's mainly an aesthetic factor so...
It depends on the blade and frame. But as a general rule, I prefer long pulls on spear and sheepsfoot blades, and nick on wharncliffe, drop and clip blades.

I agree with the above, but I detest "match strike" pulls.
