I really like the long pulls, especially in combination with a pronounced swedge e.g., Greg's post. This blade has a short and a long pull so I suppose one can choose.

I'll throw in with the long pulls.
The knife that I carried the most in my life, my old Buck 301, had a long pull, and I got spoiled by it. I do love the looks of the long pull on a nice clip blade. Match strike pulls will almost have me pleasuring myself!
Sadly, they are being lost for the sake of faster and easy production, like a lot of things.
Heck, I'd take a long pull on a peanut if I could get it!
Okay, it would be a shorter long pull on a peanut.
