thanks for sharing. best of luck with your "full" life (in the best sense of the word).
here is a poem i wrote when my oldest graduated high school. he was born when i was still just 19 years old. so, you could say i grew up with him. what a blessing.
"Mementoes
The old cardboard box contained trophies and locks
From times that seem long, long ago.
Pictures and smiles remind of trips and of miles
Such a-fleeting years, they did flow.
Lives i ponder and i sit and i wonder
From child to a man he does grow.
The faith that is found and the love that abounds
Unsure if the father did show.
Reflection of a son, a life just begun
So blessed to watch my boy grow.
