Long term grid down scenario, which folder do you choose?

if folder - ZT 0500 MUDD .. sealed pivot, sealed lock, tough as hell.. There will be a lof of dirt and dust and this knife was made to withstand such environment

ZT 0560. I kept that one in my GHB for quite a while. I recently traded it as I never carried it, but its a beefcake of a folder.

In such a Mad Max scenario I would have several fixed blade knives on me. Rugged & nothing to wear out. Easy to maintain. Different thickness/shape/size for different tasks. And wouldn't even have to be particularly heavy in total loadout weight. Wouldn't go too heavy because the bulk&weight would be needed to carry other essential items including ammo. I could also see a multi-tool & SAK as handy in such a situation. I've got some strong folders including the large Sebenza frame-lock and large CS AK-47 with Triad lock. But, my first choice would be fixed blade knives. Of course, in such a situation you would be likely to use whatever you had and all that you had till worn out, broken, or lost.

It would shock me if there was a single knife model out there that had more of a history of misuse, lack of care, abuse, neglect, and being sharpened on random rocks than the classic Buck 110. That would probably be my choice. But I don't own one.

Of what I own, probably a Griptilian or Microtech Socom Delta. But I would not feel bad if I ended up with my ZT 0560, Spyderco Endura, Spyderco Military, Manix 2, or even the small sbenza

Guess I didn't answer. I'll go for the Griptilian.

Id go for my gerber multi-tool... and 1911. But if I had to pic a one blade folder, id have to go for my gerber 06. It survived deployment, it aint pretty no more but still solid, and sharp... my only 2 folders anyway are my 06, and a kershaw scamp.
