Woodysone, if the fit is too tight for you, you can ship them back for about $1.50 and I'll make you a couple with a less stiff retention. It's just a matter of putting the top rivets a little lower.
Since these are designed as neck sheathes with the knife presumeably hanging upside down, I went for security over ease of extraction. I'm making sheathes this weekend so let me know.
