... a few more details are typically in order. Where was the transaction done and most importantly how did you pay? If it's a check or credit card / paypal you have some recourse, if it's a postal money order again you have recourse.
 
unfortunately I used paypal for friends and family.. it's a 300.00 lesson. but the 1st time I got screwed..
 
You've been around here since 2010 and still used "friends & family" on a $300.00 knife?

No offense to the Op but there are hundreds, if not thousands, of us here who have seen this too many times.

But you don't do it and then come here posting about your bad experience in the hopes that the community can light this guy up somehow and get you your knife or money back.

If you funded the PayPal purchase with a credit card, try to get the card company to refund your account.
 
LOL. This gets worse the more I look. It's like the proverbial train wreck I can't look away from.

I looked at the sales thread. The seller has only been here on the forum since July of this year.

5 months tenure and you sent him $300.00 F & F. Damn.

In defense of the seller, he does have 6 transactions and they are all 100% but still.
 
OP - as a few others have said - how about giving some factual details of what happened in an organized manner so everyone can understand.

Have you advised the other party of this thread?

FF paypal for goods ………… I guess Christmas is the time of year for gifts...….when will everyone learn?

^ Personally, I just want to say, "thank you," for giving the rest of the community a head's up, regarding a possible bad seed, we shouldn't deal with. :thumbsup::thumbsup:

The PP/incapable of tagging police here, should practice using some better perspective. Everyone here knows, that when you use PayPal F&F instead of the Goods service (when purchasing Goods), you have nobody to blame but yourself....but it doesn't mean you pile on a guy here trying to warn the community, & ignore the actions of a potential thief/scammer, which many of the above poster's, did. :thumbsdown::thumbsdown:

Just for the record, I was several days late in shipping. PAYPAL allows a buyer to take the money back until it gets out of escrow.
It shows three transaction after that

I really don't know how to resolve this, but I'd like to if for no other reason than I want
the money more than the knife
