I looked at the sales thread. The seller has only been here on the forum since July of this year.

5 months tenure and you sent him $300.00 F & F. Damn.

In defense of the seller, he does have 6 transactions and they are all 100% but still.

It’s amazing how people can complicate the Hell out of a simple knife transaction.

Just for the record, I was several days late in shipping. PAYPAL allows a buyer to take the money back until it gets out of escrow.
It shows three transaction after that

Wtf? You don’t know how to resolve it? Are you serious. Did you read this thread? Ship the knife. Right now. Or refund the money. Right now.
I’m not sure about the PayPal escrow process but it’s irrelevant because the buyer shouldn’t have to dick around doing anything. In this community the buyer says I’ll take it and pays promptly. The seller then marls the thread as sold and tells the buyer when it will ship. Then the seller packs the knife appropriately and ships it. Then the seller typically sends tracking info to the buyer or let’s them know it indeed shipped. What is so hard to resolve. Give him his money or his knife.
OR, is there something else wrong that you’re not telling us, like you sold the knife somewhere else, or it was damaged, or it doesn’t even exist, and now you’ve spent the cash?

Okay, but it looked like the OP stated everything was okay but now the seller is saying there is still a problem. I thought you might be commenting on the current state of affairs in this situation and maybe had some information the rest of us do not.

Some sort of clarity here would be nice. Until then, buyer and seller are on the no go list.

Well I’m glad this worked out for you and all is well. Just a thought and my opinion. But maybe update title thread to more positive. Or at least mention the resolve to this and how seller made good in your first post here.
