Looking at CRKT 2006

I just think CRKT's take on the My Tighe is a little on the been there done that side.

It looks almost exactly like this custom My Tighe to me.

Seriously: the pyramid thumb studs can be found on many folders. Due to the unusually shaped scales both knives are indeed a bit similar, but I think what we have here is a case of "there's nothing new under the sun", far from being a copy or anything.

To clarify my post above, I mainly referred to your wording of "CRKT's take", as I think they tried to get as close to a custom My Tighe as possible (I do realize that there are lots of different versions of it).

4116 is a German steel designation, so I did a brief search at Messerforum. Apparently, 4116 is comparable to 440B/AUS-8.

Here it looks closer to 425-M.
