What was your SINGLE best Buck acquisition in 2023 and what is the ONE knife you want or wish buck would offer in 2024?

For me it was the Buck stealth run of 119 Specials in MagnaCut with the same modified straight clip blade profile as the Jan 2023 BOTM. The knife I would most like to get in 2024 is a matching 124 in MagnaCut with the same black canvas micarta grips.

The Stealth 119 in Magnacut was certainly the most expensive one for me, but BOTM in 3V will be the one I use the most in 2024, it's my new dedicated hunting/camping/choring blade. The Magnacut blade is really too pretty to use, lol.

And not for nothing but I asked repeatedly for that very 3V blade and said I would be okay with a regular phenolic handle, and by golly Buck dished it up, a great knife in 3V for a lot less than what most 3V blades go for. I like toughness in a knife even more so than hardness, but that blade gives me both!

Since I acquired 90% of my Buck collection within the past year, it's impossible for me to pick the "best" one. The purchase that pleased me the most was this custom 110/112 set in bluewood and nickel silver, with finger grooves. My Dad has the 112, I have the 110.20230805_150425.jpg
Happy New Year, to all of my Buck friends!

635 pak lite, I also got the larger 630 but the 635 has won me over.

I really like this Open Season 539 that I picked up about a month ago new for $45. There are some issues with the grind, but I don’t mind since it is a user and extremely sharp. I am glad that Buck found some of these older, retired blades and released them into the wild.

I'll count this as one since they are the same model. I always wanted one when I was in high school. Took a while but finally checked them off the list with my crazy buying this year. I've accumulated about 80% of my Buck collection since I got back into knife collecting this fall.
