It's gotta be the 1st 1989 stag covered 305 I scored back in I think may.
It's not only my Buck of the year, it's my overall knife of the year.
It was still 2023 when I placed my custom shop order, but I won't have that one for awhile and I'm not sure it'll beat this knife anyways.

Our house has been pretty busy, and I haven't been on BF much. The kids are back in school, though, and I've had some time to think over the question.
I'd love to say that my favorite Buck of the year is my kitchen 104, but that wasn't a '23 purchase. My BOTY for '23 would probably have to be either the 117 or an older 309. I probably use the 117 more, so we'll go with that. Such a great knife for breakfast duty!
