Looking for a camp/survival knife

Based on your specs of a 5"-7" blade, the skinny ASH1 is a good choice. If you really want a thicker blade, the ASH1 LE with a .225" thick satin finished blade is excellent (factory price was $497 for the LE). The BATAC and SJTAC are also possibilities.
