Looking for a fixed blade fighting knife for about $200 or less.

Mineral Mountain, and Miller Bros. Blades come to mind. Gravelle Knives.
Here's a Blackjack Tac-Ops 6, basically the same as the Bark River STS. Right around $150.

Hits some of your priorities. I really like the style of knife. It is ML Knives Trail Fighter Bowie;

A bit high at 225, but a heck of a hunk of steel!

Nathan the Machinist is still putting up batches of the knife described in this thread:

http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/showthread.php/1048443-Advanced-Knife-Machining-WIP-Pointy-Fighter

They are ballpark your price point with an excellent sheath, have a great lively feel in the hand and excellent geometry for sticking stuff. I haven't beaten on mine but Nathan's made a few videos showing the abuse he's put these through and they are incredibly well designed and built to get beaten on. Can't recommend them highly enough.

I've had a Nimravus since I was a young grunt in 2004 and it has served me admirably. If you desire a lively feeling and tactical fighter, you won't be disappointed with the Nimravus. I was actually sharpening it just now and remembering using it on foot patrols to open my MRE of the day.

SOG recon bowie has the best feel of any knife I own. The Taiwan model is within your price range…the Seki version with leather handle, which is superb, is more like $300.

The SOG bowie is also a very capable fighter, razor sharp with a wicked point, and very comfortable in the hand.

The TSD combat knife also would fit your specs.http://tsdcombatsystems.com/category/fighting-knives/

then there is the Karbar modified Camillus or Kabar, mighty effective

then there is the Blackjack 1-7 fighter which also comes in a shorter blade length

and the Blackjack HALO

here are a couple on the forum

Boker applegate-fairbairn, if you can find one. Handled one once. Inspires confidence in the hand, that's for sure.

I've been very happy with the Nimravus. It's light, sharp, fits my hand well both forward and reverse grip, comfortable to use and wears well. I do enjoy my TOPS knives. Mine are not fighters. They hold up well, are comfortable and with the micarta handle my hand won't slip in a wet environment. In use I've been happy with their performance and edge retention.

I can say grabbing one of my kitchen knives with the intent to abuse it will not go over well. Do not underestimate "the wife" LOL. Hockey puck brides biscuits may become standard fare.

Blackhawk makes some different ones that would probably tickle your fancy. The UK Special Forces is a great looking double edged fighter. And if you're looking for tacticool I think the Tatang was in one of the Call of Duty games- don't remember which one.

I have 2 suggestions both very close to the $200 mark.
First is the Jerry Hossom designed Fox made vengeance. Made in Italy though.

Next up is the Walter Brend designed Protech model 1. Made in USA.
