Just as the title implied, I'm looking for a good set of Torx drivers. There are plethora of them, so I figured I'd ask the pros and see what you guys recommended. I'm looking for a set that contains at least as small as T6 and at least as large as T12 (which should cover pretty much all knife needs). I don't care about the form factor, if it's a set of handled drivers, or just one handle and a set of bits. I'd really like something American or German made or at least not made in China, hardened, and durable. Just switching the pocket clip on my new PM2 last night with my el-cheapo chinese "precision" driver set and I already stripped down and twisted the bit. (Why does Spyderco default to tip down??)

Anyway, I'm open to any suggestions. Please & thank you in advance.

Wiha for me, been using them for decades, and I use them on an almost daily basis (knives, motorcycles, anything).

And great customer service (at least in my experience). I once received a defective bit (a philips head driver that was missing the grooves, so basically just a pointed bit), and they sent me out a replacement right away, without requiring me to send back the dud.

Also, you can buy individual bits from their site. So if you need a particular bit at some point that your set doesn't have, or replace a lost one, you can always buy one.

Get one of these Wiha L-key torx sets. Has all the sizes you will need, made in Germany :

I've only got a bit of experience with Wera drivers, and by and large, they seem to be quite solid. I wouldn't be worried about them being made in the Czech Republic, they seem to know how to make precision parts. I've found in my shopping that pricing can be very regional, and so one or the other will be far more expensive. Either way, the tools won't be the weak link.

I actually got three sets:
- Wiha 36590 (Wing handle set)
- Wiha 79242 (Bit selector set)
And a cool looking full set on Amazon labeled as: "

EZARC Precision Screwdriver Set 57 in 1 Magnetic Driver Bit Small Mini Pocket Screwdriver Tool with Aluminum Case Repair Kit
