Looking for a good hardened Torx set

Wiha and Wera. I have a precision T6 Wera driver that I love for when installing Lynch clips.

This was your only mistake. A wera knockoff. Good selection on the others. Wiha vote from me.

Wiha is good, no doubt about it. I have some of their tools and -no- complaints. Other than you have to buy a whole set.

Chapman Tool is very good, too. I have not loctited a hardened screw then tried to see which tool broke first, so no comparisons from me. But you can buy separate bits and bit drivers from Chapman. If you want a dozen T6 bits and a couple square drive for screwing down the decking on your porch, you can order them that way. They are 1/4" hex shanks, so not anything uncommon. Not sure it is legal here to post a link to Chapman, but a search will have them in it. You can buy direct, so no chance of getting counterfeit from a large online retailer.

FWIW, YMMV, WWTMM, etc. Hope this helps.

Be careful with Wiha, they have moved some of their production to asia... not slinging mud but caveat emptor. If you have not found KC Tool check them out. They specialize in German made tools.

I have the famous Wiha 79242 11 piece set. T5-T30 in a nice, compact carrying case. Just add a good driver and you are set.
