Sometimes I spend time where the legal limit is 2.5" . I have a Spyderco Dice and a Dragonfly 2 (FRN/VG10), Kershaw Scallion but am looking for something else.

So far I've considered:

Gayle Bradley Air
- Looks nice but not too flashy with the CF scales
- Excellent steel
- Decent price
- Easy to use liner lock

Benchmade Megumi
- Looks awesome in wood and CF
- Good steel
- Nak Lok is new but seems to be pretty easy to adapt to
- More expensive

Victonox Alox Cadet
- Looks better than the normal red plastic so semi intriguing
- Bleh steel
- Slipjoint, I'm not really a fan but always willing to try something new.
- Cheap
- Inconspicuous
- Semi useful tools

What else should I consider?

My input:
Has to meet the length requirement
I value edge retention over ease of sharpening. I sharpen on diamonds so all steels are in play.
Aesthetics: I don't like bone, antler, toenails, shells, fossilized scrotums or other body parts. A lot of them look like scabs to me.
I also don't like softwoods or woods I'm going to have to baby.
I'm thinking nice looking
Clip or clipless
Gotta be a folder.
NO SERRATIONS!

LionSteel 82xx series CB Mini has a few options. $150 and down.
Kizer has a few options with 2.5" blades at $100 or so with S35VN steel.
SOG Flash I for an inexpensive option.

You probably don't want a Kahr Arms Delica 4 by Spyderco if you have the Dragonfly.

DPx HEAT

Al Mar Hawk or Osprey...

BladeTech Mouse...

Benchmade 3150 Impel...

Benchmade 482 Megumi that you looked at is very nice. Hell, I might've stopped right there.

The Kahr Delica is a really slick looking knife

A good bit more expensive idea is a Rod Olson Model 11. Sweet little knife with a 2" blade.

The Kershaw OD-2 with a 2.25" blade, 8Cr13MoV, simulated G10, and a flipper. It's my Office EDC due to work restrictions.

It's discontinued but is still plentiful on the secondary market ~$20.

I have a Scallion and a Cadet, and I always carry one or the other. I carry the Cadet much more frequently. It's a great knife. For small blade tasks, I don’t miss the lock blade at all, and the usefullness of the other tools is nice too. The only time I carry the Scallion is when I'm wearing pants without a coin pouch to slip the Cadet in. The scallion is a ton of fun to open and close, and cuts nice, but the Cadet cuts just fine too.

How do you plan to carry the knife? If you need one to carry in the bottom of the pocket, pick up an Alox Cadet first. For sure you will want a more expensive sub-2.5 inch folder later on, but the Alox Cadet is a great knife for a great price.

I bought my girlfriend a Megumi last year - it is a beautiful little knife, but not one I'd want to carry around everyday in a pocket full of keys and other junk... I'd be afraid of beating up/chipping the wood.

I don't have a GB Air, but it looks mighty nice.

As far as knives with pocket clips, you have two good ones in the dice and DF2. You could upgrade to a G10 DF2, or try out a Techno. DPx HEAT is a great option too... pretty unique, really wide and really short.

Your suggestions are not bad. I think I would lean toward the Spyderco Gayle Bradley Air. Also, take a look at the Spyderco Techno and the Nishijin Dragonfly (beautiful).
