Alot of great suggestions, the American made Danners are really nice. Some of the other suggestions are just awesome. Clark's Hillside Gore-Tex Boots

Chukka style, comfortable, not for hiking but easy (for laced boots) off and on. It's snowing & melting here: I take them off and put them on all day, that's what they're for and did I mention waterproof?
