looking for a particular titanium folder.

This ESEE izula folder was supposed to come out this year... what happened ?

ZT 0452 carbon fiber. It's a beaut at $220.00, @ 4.6 oz. If it's 4" blade is too big, look at the smaller version, the ZT 0450. I'm getting the 452 myself for Christmas.

I fully agree, and the 452 would make an awesome gift for yourself:) I love mine.
That said, no thumb studs like he asked for, and he may not like the cf on one side.

Still, my favorite folder:)

Forged Titanium Handles, no Taiwan here just good old school Japan made, Cold Steel Ti Lite. Takes some looking though, out of production for some time but I like the chase and take down.

Try to pick up a set of Ti Wilkins Grips, and then stick a Griptilian blade of your choice in those. On the secondhand market, you could probably put that together within your budget. For just playing around and flipping it, the Axis lock is a lot of fun, and the Wilkins grips feel great in hand. And should you choose to use it, the Griptilian (and the Wilkins Grips) can certainly hold up to any reasonable folding knife use.

(obviously not the Ti handles on these, but these are my Wilkins-Grips)

Minus the thumbstud requirement, the ZT0801 seems like the perfect knife for what you are looking for!

maybe this thread needs to serve as shout out for ZT to make them blade stops into Thumb Studs :)
no thumbsutds & no insert = no deal.

yup that's the only viable option I've heard so far,
some one already mentioned it.

ZT 0550 3rd Gen has a steel lock bar insert, titanium lock side and has thumb studs.

Then go here and get the ti scale from Steve.

Don't think anyone has mentioned Pro Tech yet......so I will!!
The TR-3 manual is one of my favorites!! Excellent build, smooth as oiled glass and tough as nails!
Just got mine back from the factory for a blade swap.....love it!! Great CS also!!

minimum 150$ the knife + 150$ the slab + 30$ or so shipping out side usa
that blows away my budget.

Buy, it buy the ti slab later? You aren't going to find anything if you continue to be so picky. I mean come on something is wrong with everything suggested!

not with the griptilian with TI handles.
and im starting to think i need to give up steel insert, that would open the option quiet a bit
but im not so sure the thing would last thousands & thousands of opening.
anyway drably alias 1 looks nice, not sure i can find it anymore though.

how about higher quality china knifes like thees.

Kevin John xm-18 it has studs both ti slabs & steel insert?
