Can anyone recommend a good prybar no more than 3in-4in long. I checked out atwoods site but they have none for sale. Anything that you use. As always thanks for your help.

Countycomm has 2 or 3 different varieties, as well as a bunch of other fun stuff:

I haven't used any of them, but I think I'll be ordering one along with a few other things this weekend, so I may be posting a review in a week or so.

Target and Meijer both have the little Stanley prybars for a couple of bucks, which can be easily shortened to that size. I keep one in a small pouch for my vehicle (and a big one in the toolbox).

Not looking to Hi Jack the thread.

just curious,

what have you guys ever used these for?

Yeah, I see the little ones at Home Depot and Lowe's if you've got one nearby.

This place has the same mini-prybar as country.com for about $20 LESS.

I have one and it is great. The Atwood site has a tutorial for wrapping it with cord.

Edit:
The county.com shipping charges used to be astronomical. That is why I recomended the other vendor for the same item.
Maybe county.com's shipping has gotten more reasonable since I last checked, I don't know.

Actually, if you're talking about the Widgy, County Comm has them for 5 bucks, the sight you linked to has them for $5.95. The most expensive one I see on County Comm is only $12. I didn't look at shipping charges on either sight.

I work in a warehouse and I think one might occasionally come in useful for for a few different things. The one I think I'd use it for most would be to pull loose nails out of pallets so they don't scratch up and damage the items that we're stacking on the pallets. It would also be handy for opening cartons that are glued shut. A knife blade will usually work for that, but sometimes those cartons can be pretty stubborn and I'd rather pry at it with a 5 dollar pry bar that I can keep in my pocket than a 50 dollar knife.

thanks so much for the quick feedback. please keepem coming. $$$ is not a concern i just want to buy one that i know wont let me down if i need it.
thanks again

I just received the Widgy from County Comm today and I have to say this is a neat little prybar. The main reason I bought it is because I work on pc's and every once in a while you get one with a stubborn side panel that wont come off. Some of these panels could cut your finger pretty bad if you're not careful. Pics to follow.

The breacher bar, that is the thing I was looking for. All my searching turned up was that crkt model. pretty much same thing for cheap price.

I also have the Widgy Pocket Pry Bar and it has come in handy more than once. Nice little piece of kit that I have on me at all times.
