Looking for a real fast paced, excellent book on post apocolypse survival or zombies

I don't know if it'll suit your tastes, but "The Passage" by Justin Cronin is a pretty good book about life after creatures called "Fliers" wipes out most of humanity. It starts out a little slow, but it really is a good book, and I think you may like it.

Check out Wool by Hugh Howey. No zombies that I am aware of yet, though I am still reading the series so who knows, but an excellent dystopian series nonetheless.
