Yes. The new Endura 4's are VG-10 all round. They are the ones with the holes drilled on for 4-way clip carry. You can also tell because the blade has a bug on it.

Also, on some site the Buck Northshore has a darker looking handle than on others. What's the true color of the handle? Is it more steely looking or beige looking?

Looking at mine, the handle is what I would also call beige(i think it's called brushed Al.) as compared to the blade which is "normal" stainless steel color.

**this is a VERY nicely made knife. F&F is Very good. I just wish for better steel. BUT, this 420hc gets wicked, and I mean wicked, sharp.:thumbup:
