Looking for a spork!

I too love using my Snow Peak Ti spork. I don't really like the folding ones though as I don't feel you save that much space since the handle on the Snow Peak is so slim.

I do want to get one of the titanium LMFs though but just haven't gotten around to getting one. I've used the plastic ones before and while I like the concept, I do find myself being overly careful with them from fear of breaking them. It does feel weird to be using one of them while eating out in public though....

I have both the snowpeak regular and GSI folding sporks, the reason I like the folder is I can more easily add a stick to the handle, giving a little more reach for stirring and such, plus I use it to pick embers from the fire for dish washing.

I bought my wife the new titanium Light My Fire spork and she really loves it. My favorite isn't Ti, but stainless steel; the Vargo Scork!

thanks rock6 that is what i am looking for and will be picking it up shortly

I've used a Snowpeak/REI spork for years, but DJ Urbanovsky is making these now. A bit longer and burlier, but I still want one for the kewl factor.

I'm sure I'll continue using my smaller Snowpeak as well. After all it's not the size of the spork that matters, it's how you stick it in the can.

I just came across those on USN and Lightfighter yesterday. I think I am in love.

I like the riot spear that that guy makes--too bad they aren't for sale! :p

Snow Peak like others here, although I often just use a lexan spoon when I don't want to scratch the pot finish.

Well, I had a gift cert to Gander Mountain and they carry the LMF Ti Sporks so I picked one of those up. To try along side the REI one that Shotgun so generously offered. I will put a review of both on the blog.

I have to say that I feel kind of silly, but I have kind of been bitten with the Ti Spork bug. I have two on the way and I am already thinking about picking up an American Kami and Snow Peak. Vargo makes a nice one with a 'biner clip on it that looks neat too. I would also like to check out one of the full sets (knife, spoon, fork) versus the utility of just a spork.

I use a Ti folding spork from Rei, I like the folding one because it fits in my cook kit. the Snow peak one does not. I do have that one also. I have never had any problems with either.

I have the Snow Peak Ti spork. IMHO, the handle is too skinny and too long. I ended up folding the tip of the handle over, into a hook. Now, it actually fits inside my Snow Peak cookset (900, I think?).

I would look at one of the other ones, like the County Comm Super Spork,

The price is good, also.

next time you stop at Wendys, pick up a couple extra Frosty spoons. They are sturdy, last a long time, and cost NOTHING!

Knives of Alaska makes a Ti hobo set. The spoon is a little small. The tools include knife, fork, spoon, cap lifter, and can opener.

Kinda goofy, but I took a regular tablespoon, squared off the front , and drilled a hole for a split-ring to clip it to my pack.
Considered the hacksaw tine cut outs. Maybe I'll try it sometime.

uh...

I am "sporkless." Would a table spoon modified with a hacksaw work?
That was my thought as well, and I believe it would work just fine. Might not get us much respect from the spork snobs though! :D
