The Centofante 3 is a great choice. I just received a Centofante 4 and it's wonderful. The blade is really thin -- so thin compared to my other knives that I almost laughed when I took it out of the box. However, it is light, super comfortable, and the blade size is perfect for using just about anywhere without raising any eyebrows. The design is modern and functional but not at all "tactical".
I own a couple Para-Military 2s and I do recommend it, but they're scarce and expensive right now so take your time with that one. I'd try an Endura if you get a chance. It's slim and pocket-friendly just like the Centofante, but with with a thicker and longer blade that, to me, seems a little better themed for heavier duty tasks. It shares the same VG-10 steel as the Cento and has a really comfortable FRN handle. It's not the fanciest nor the toughest, but despite the hundreds of knives that've passed through my hands over the years, I still consider it one of the finest EDC tools ever.
