I am looking for a reputable knife store in Atlanta, GA or Charlotte, NC, any information on stores in these areas would be real helpfull, thanks.

some place in NC called Beck Cutlery, but I don't know what city, Cary maybe.

Brigade Quartermaster has their headquarters in Atlanta. Lots of knives and it's a pretty cool store.

Thank you for the input. It seems that a good knife store is harder to find than I thought.

Hey, Jo Jo

I assume you must have made the move to God's country. While it doesn't exactly fit your request, you must be in driving distance to Sevierville, TN, exit 407 on I-40, about 30 miles east of Knoxville (about 2.5 hours from Charlotte).

If you're an eight-year-old boy or his daddy, Smokey Mountain Knifeworks is pretty much Graceland. I go up about once a year from Shelby, NC just for shits and giggles.

Be Well.

Its about 80 miles north of Charlotte, but Highway 67 Hardware has a wide selection of knives, expecially Case and Kershaw. They also have lot of nicely priced handguns:) Interesting store, for sure.

I don't recall a really good store in Charlotte. Some of the outfitters carry knives for fishing/camping, but you sort of have to get out of town to find good stuff/prices.

Also worth the drive is Duncan's in North Wilkesboro, though they are more gun oriented. Very nice heated range, though.

There used to be a good one in the Concord Mills mall. Bass Pro Shops there still sometimes has a decent selection next to the guncases when they remember to restock. There is also a smokes and knives shop in the Birkdale shops across from Dick's (I77 exit 25 area), but I haven't stopped in to check it out yet.
