I finally got to hold a Ratmandu in my hand and that's all it took. I want one BAD! It's is time to sell off some so I can finally buy my baby!

I do have a few questions for the swamp people.

What is the difference between the RMD on the website (for purchase) and the RMD LE, or RMD CG?
When I order from the website approximately how long will I wait?
Last, but most important, will I be accepted in the swamp after my purchase???? :o

Thanks

LE was a limited edetion with satin steel instead of the usual coating. CG means combat grade and refers to coated blades. Great choice in a gateway drug errrrr.... I mean knife. It was mine also. Wecome to the addiction.

RMD currently on the Website is the CG. Combat Grade...coated blades in choice of colors. As posted above LE is a run of 300 pieces. There are other variants too. Like the 1 of 13 prototype stuff and the dual guard RatmanDuex...all more difficult to score but do come up from time to time.

And the Cutom Shop pieces...oh, the CS pieces...this is where my favorites originate...can be scored at shows and sometimes by ordering via. e-mail request. RMD SE is a FFG favorite of mine from the CS.

ETA: some CS stuff can be had when it's offered in the Ganzas too.

And acceptance in the Swamp is more about attitude and personality than ownership of any material item.

I just ordered a Ratmandu CG in Black on Black. 4-14 weeks is a long time to wait. I feel generally accepted already:)

Do yourself a favor and DON'T buy RMD!
If you do, you will find yourself living on the street with just one lung and kidney...
RMD has a way of making you want all those Swamp and Busse and Scrap Yard blades...

I am going to "clean house" to get some funds for this knife. This will be the first I acquire on my knife "bucket" list.

I bring style, class, panache and good looks to an otherwise methane emitting Swamp..!!!!!!!!! ;) :D

I like this one too!!! WOW!!!

Only time a man gets to say "Nice ASH" to me and I will reply "Thanks" ... ;)

Yep, that is an R6 with a tanker grey blade I believe.

I need to order my drop point R6 this week as well ... :D

Andy, I avoided "nice ASH"...because you have way more than one.

WW, RMDs are the foundation of a Swamp Rat collection or prepared loadout, FFG for a win...N2K RMD concept for The Win!
