I like the slim profile and weight of the Skyline, but would like better thumbstuds, and a higher quality blade steel (something polished would be ideal but not a deal breaker).

Any suggestions?

I wish kershaw would do a skyline with titanium scales and the damascus blade. Maybe the guy that does the glow in tbe dark scales.can make them in ss or titanium.

Hadn't really thought about it....maybe ~$150.00?

ok, now we can get the sebenzas, mnadis, hindereres...out of the way:D
brother...there are so many to choose from that i don't even know where to begin...
have you ever tried the mini grip?

Something in the Benchmade/Lone Wolf Paul Axial series? Some of those are very sleek and light.

check out the benchmade swale.
i have the predecessor, the blackfoot, but people seem to like it.
the ergos are the same as my blackfoot so i can tell you that they're great.
also, the blade deploys very fast, if you like to play a little:D

Spyderco delica ZDP-189. The delica is about the size and weight of a skyline, the ZDP-189 blade is definitely an upgrade and the Spyder-hole makes opening the knife much easier than a thumb stud.

The Skyline's thumb studs are stop pins...and 14C28N takes a keen edge. Just saying.

Skyline rocks!

Mcusta MC-52D is nice:

Have one and never carry it....it's blade size is a little smaller than what I want.

Benchmade 470 Emissary. Beautiful, machined aluminum scales, S30V blade steel...check it out :)
