I have been wanting to get a zero tolerance knife for quite some time now. I own several kershaws and enjoy them very much. So the question is which one do I pick? I have been thinking about the 0808 rexford design or the 0562cf but I have not made a decision. I don't mind carrying bigger folders so weight and size doesn't matter much to me. So what do you guys thinks think? action, materials, fit and finish. If you are getting just one, which one is it?

Either one will be a good choice. It's just a matter of personal preference.

get the 0770cf in elmax or m390 you will love it and the above post is correct, they are like lays chips, no one can own just one.

Which Kershaws do you have and what do you like about them?

Bahaha silly me thinking I don't have an addiction... I will most likely end up with more... Same thing happened to me with spyderco and reate knives... If I start choosing one to pick up I'll end up with 3 in my hands and happy with all of them haha. Appreciate the help though guys. And although I don't mind the speedsafe on my kershaws I'm not sure I want an assisted zt.

I have the aluminum link drop point, chill, thermite and cryo w/g10. I enjoy Kershaw because of the high value I find in them. Price is usually good and the materials are usually decent. I don't mind the 8crs and I enjoy using my sharpmaker.

I have 3.....just thought I wanted 1!!!
450.....best flipper period!! Great small EDC.
452 CF.....unbelievably cool knife!! 450 on steroids!
562 CF.....carry this one the most! Sexy beast!!
Got all mine from Scott at usamadeblade...all anodized for no extra charge! Great dude!
Good luck!

I'd suggest the 0562 then...it'll be like an upgraded, manual fusion of the Link, Thermite and Cryo. It's one of the best ZT's available right now. I bet you'd love it.

Have fun!

452 cf. I love mine.

I have several ZT's as its one of my favorite brands, and I must say I couldn't part with the 0562. It's a little big but carries nicely and the ergonomics are great.

I would go for the 0562 over the 0566 due to the Ti vs SS frame lock. I know you said weight does not really matter much but there is a noticeable difference between the two with the slightly larger 562 being the lighter of the two and it is not assisted but flips just as fast with the KVT caged bearing system.

I have had both the cf and g-10 versions of the 562 and I would stay with the g-10 if cost is an issue, I like the look of the cf but it is a little slicker and about $60 more...the blade is 204p vs elmax but they are not much different in day to day usage (imho).

0562 in my ever so humble. I have an Elmax/G10 0562 and it's a working mans tool in every sense. Rugged as all get go, spot on size (for me), excellent flipping action, easy enough one hand closing, very strong blade design, great ergo's.

I would go with the 0562. Assisted is not my favorite, even though I have several Kershaw SpeedSafe knives, I tend not to carry them. I have a 0550 that I love, and I carry it over my 0350 - probably because the 0350 is assisted.
