Same here. The FFG cuts better, weighs less, won't tend to self-open when drawn from pocket. Less threatening, too.Delica ffg without the wave feature is what I would go with. More handle colors plus the ffg blade I have the wave endura and find I don't carry it that much.
You're welcome.Man this board is awesome, very happy I joined!
My plan is to watch the exchange for a delica and go for that to start since they are a tad cheaper. I may bite the bullet though and go through a dealer.
it seems the consensus is FFG over the other grinds? I saw a couple in the exchange today but they were sabre grind I believe. I would be using the blade to mainly peel tape off composite parts. So I think the thinner the blade the better.
Awww they got you too eh?After playing with my friends mini Grip with a spider hole I am hooked. I want to experience a spyderco. Leaning towards the delica because of the under 3 inch blade and price. I was curious if paying a little extra for the wave is worth it? I would be using this as my work knife (why it has to be under 3 inches).
Does anyone have any other spyderco knives they would suggest?
Thanks!
Keep leaning towards the delica! Its a fantastic knife. Ive had both waved and non waved delica's. I wouldn't bother with the wave IMO, its a "fancy" feature that you wont need. I think it looks better with out the wave and you get to use the spydie hole more!
