Looking v's seeing

Maybe a track to check out:

What do you think?

Wow ... cool my first pic!

G'day Dartanyon

Looks like either sheep or goat tracks.

The tracks look like they were made when the ground was wet but the ground looks dry in the pic.

In the spirit of this post a couple of questions if I may.

Firstly, how dry was the ground? Is it dry below the surface as well or just the crust on top that was dry?

Do you know how long ago it rained there and how hot/windy it's been?

I'd like to get an idea of how long ago those tracks were made.

Thanks in advance

Kind regards
Mick

Questions I understand that have to be asked ... well ground is dry and hard, the tracks have set hard and the last rain was about a week ago. this is the sort of dirt that goes muddy very easily so the animal that made the tracks is not that heavy. Yep, split hooves but I dont think sheep due to the area and grasses not chewed and ripped. Goats? Yea thats what I thought at first although I've never seen them in this area. Sorry for the bad photo, it was taken in the arvo and I wanted to include as much surrounding info as possible. My son and I were out practising with our bows.
A bit of trivia ... the two piece arrow is working!
