You are very correct about puting this in the hands of others. this process was and still is very unconfortable to me but its coming to a close. The transfer of the design to CAD sucked. fortunately the guy I was working with was cool. the first prototype he sent me I told him, "hey dude, this is all wrong, I dont mean to sound like a asshole, but there will be no shortcuts in a effort to make it simpiler." I dont think he thought my eye was as keen as it is and I could visually see differences in thousanths increments. Once we got on the same page, he was a little more dedicated to pleasing me. about 100 more emails and phone calls and two more prototypes later. we got it.
As, far as handling it well, ha, you dont get the privilage of seeing me freek out and fall apart. My Dad and Murph have been close to this project as well and have both been very helpfull, but at the end of the day, Im the one that rises or falls. But there both there for help and support or to tell me to pull my head out of my ass or just to listen to me vent or to watch me throw a fit. Lol, Im very particular on what i expect out of my stuff, no body can torture me worse than I do myself. It suites me well in this field but can be a curse sometimes in everyday life.
The doctor has prescribed me a new kinda happy pill, so were working on it! Lol!
