I am a dumbass. I somehow have managed to lose my black pm2 while out. I have searched and searched.

Wondering what you guys would replace it with? My first inclination is another black pm2.

But I am also interested in the BM 940 and 943. I like the BM 710 as well.

Also looking at at ZT 560 something series

Thoughts while I beat myself for my carelessness?

How much do you want to spend? What type of steel? Flipper? Liner lock or framelock? I find a heavier large knife has stayed in my pocket. After I lost a couple of Leeks. I prefer the ZT0300 and ZT0620cf. Good luck.

Another 1 or 2

I'm just getting into this whole world. So far I have an s30v blur that is back with kershaw for warranty work (vertical travel issue that I suspect is from me flipping it open too hard). I have a leek, an opinel 8 and the pm2. Just started buying in August.

I like the flipper on the leek. But I loved how smooth the manual pm2 was. Also liked the lock and the unassisted

I leaning towards another pm2 but handled a BM 940 last weekend and it was pretty sweet.

Really like my BM 940-1501,just got my first PM2 last week..really nice too.You have a tough choice to make.

Buy a 940… Smile :D
Grab an S110V PM2 when they surface again… Smile :D
Find your black PM2 behind the couch …. Smile :D
Step back and look at all your awesome knives you have. Smile :D

Also, where is a good spot to buy in canada. Exchange rate sucks right now. I have used kutters here in ottawa and warriors and wonders. Any others to be aware of?

This knife world is an addictive, pricey bitch

I just got a ZT0562cf. I usually like a little shorter blade but now that I had it a few days to get used to it it's a perfect size. Some say it's heavy but the weight is not an issue at all for me.

Another pm2. Assuming you really liked it. Benchmade is a lot different. I sold my mini grip when all I had was a delica. I just didn't like the axis lock (too much play) and it didn't fit good in the hand. The pm2 was designed with my hand in mind. At least that's what I'm convinced of.

The 940 and 710 are both great benchmades.

If you liked the PM2 a lot my first instinct would be to get another, but if you are interested in trying out another fantastic lock type, try one of those benchmades.

Replace the PM2 immediately (think of it like replacing tires on your car, its a neccessity) Then get yourself a 940 using Christmas as an excuse to buy yourself something nice. The 940 is the only benchmade that I really want besides maybe the barrage but the only thing stopping me from getting one is its small size. I held one once during a time that I was carrying my PM2 every day and it felt especially diminutive. But man its a perfect design.
