Hi everyone, I’ve become less interested in knives in the last few years, so here’s a selection of pieces I’m willing to part with. All pieces were acquired around 2004-2012, and were safe queens for me, never carried, sharpened etc (some were acquired second hand, still none looks to my eyes to have ever been sharpened by original owners either). I’m based in Italy, so that’s where I will be shipping things from, and payment through Paypal (PP) is fine. All prices are total prices for the buyer, they are inclusive of shipping through FedEx wherever you live, and already cover PP fees (= PP G&S is fine). I am not interested in trades. I can definitely provide additional pictures if requested.

This thread is a repost and consolidation of other threads I previously posted here (and crossposted on another platform), with only the pieces still available showing.

This thread is for custom fixed blades FS - I also have other threads for custom folders for sale and a Jones Brothers set (fixed blade + folder), and another for 2 production fixed blades (Randalls) FS - you can find links in my signature.

Mike Williams MS Old Washington Bowie. Around 11.8” blade (10.8” cutting edge), 17.7” OAL. Weight: 552 g (= 19.5 ounces). This won the best bowie award at Blade Atlanta 2005 (well, actually, the award for “Best Non-damascus Hand-forged Knife”, which just happened to be a bowie :) ). I got this second hand, around 2007-8, I think. 416 fittings with a copper spacer and exhibition grade Ironwood scales. Blade steel is O1. Top edge is sharp. The spine is tapered as it flows into the clip point - very well balanced knife, very good feeling in hand. Comes with its own worked Rowe’s leather sheath, with a safety pin closure (you cannot remove the blade from the sheath when latch is closed). Excellent condition, blade has a few very very faint signs on it (they don’t show on pics) – I’d rate it at 98-99% (it’s a well-kept blade, but it IS from 20+ years ago – cannot say it’s at 100%). 1,800 USD, includes PP fees and shipment through FedEx. If somebody would like to buy the whole forged bowie-hunter Mike Williams set (see next post for the hunter), I can let go of both together for USD 2,150.00

Mike Williams MS Hunter. Around 4.4” blade (3.94” cutting edge), 9.25” OAL. Weight: 157 g (= 5.5 ounces). I got this second hand, a bit later than the bowie, and I was told it was from the same 2005 Blade show (but it did not win any award). It definitely has a similar vibe as the bowie, and would make a for a very good set, IMHO. Handle is Desert ironwood, and guard and fittings look to be SS with a bronze spacer (similar to the bowie). Not sure what the blade steel is, possibly 52100. Comes with its own worked Rowe’s leather sheath. Excellent condition, blade has a few faint signs on it (they don’t show on pics), sheath has a few dings (you can see them in pics) – I’d rate it at 95%. 600 USD, includes PP fees and shipment through FedEx. If somebody would like to buy the whole forged bowie-hunter Mike Williams set (you can see both together in last couple of pics), I can let go of both together for USD 2,150.00

Shiva Ki very large/monster Spirit blade in clay tempered steel. Around 10.9” blade (10” cutting edge), 16.9” OAL. Weight: 495 g (= 17.46 ounces). I got this second hand, around 2005-2006. This Spirit blade features a clay tempered carbon steel (Shiva Ki did not say what steel it is – read somewhere it should be 1095) clip point blade with false top edge. The handle is comprised of a nickel silver guard and cord wrap over rayskin with a dyed curly maple pommel over hidden tang construction. Includes Shiva’s classic leather sheath with belt loop. Excellent conditions: blade has a few signs on it, but I would say that most, if not all, of them are from the original forging – Shiva was always one for very utilitarian F&F :) – I’d rate the blade at 98-99%. 1,650 USD, includes PP fees and shipment through FedEx

Tom Ferry MS Damascus Fighter. Around 9” blade (7.7” cutting edge), 14.3” OAL. Weight: 336 g (= 11.85 ounces). I got this second hand – original owner labeled it as a Bowie (you can see the tag on the sheath in pics), from size I’m calling it more of a fighter (in a small-er bowie shape :) ) Handle looks to be Blackwood or very very dark walnut, and guard and blade are Damascus – don’t remember what steel, but Tom’s preferred steels for damascus are 1084 and 15n20, so it’s likely that’s what was used. Tom’s logo on one side of blade. Top edge is not sharp. Comes with its own frog leather sheath with belt attachment. Excellent condition, cannot see any defects at all on blade, handle has 1-2 dings. 900 USD, includes PP fees and shipment through FedEx

Jon P Christensen JS Damascus S-Guard Fighter. Around 10.23” blade (9.4” cutting edge), 15.35” OAL. Weight: 279 g (= 9.84 ounces). I got this second hand. Handle looks to be Ironwood, and guard and blade are Damascus (don’t know precisely what steel was used). Jon’s logo on one side of blade, and “JS” on other side (Jon became an ABS MS in 2006, so this dates from before that). Top edge is not sharp. Comes with its own frog leather sheath with belt attachment. Excellent condition, cannot see any defects at all on blade. 850 USD, includes PP fees and shipment through FedEx

Jerome Anders JS Bowie. Around 9.5” blade (8.86” cutting edge), 14.48” OAL. Weight: 455 g (= 16.05 ounces). I got this second hand. Coffin handle in Desert Ironwood, with a nickel silver Tombstone guard, butt cap and escutcheon. Blade steel is forged 5160. Blade’s marked with “J. Anders JS” on one side. Jerome earned his MS stamp in 2004, so this dates from before that (I think I got it around 2005-2006). Top edge is not sharp. Comes with its own frog leather sheath, marked “B” within a shield on back (should be a Mike Bartol sheath, iirc). Excellent condition. 800 USD, includes PP fees and shipment through FedEx

Todd Begg fixed blade knife bought from EDC Knives around 2008-2010, not sure about the model name – I seem to remember “Marauder”, and that it might have been a prototype, but I could not find anything by Todd by that name around. It does look quite a bit like his Crusader model, so my memory might simply be defective. 11” OAL, around 5.1” cutting blade, full tang construction. Weight: 215g (= 7.58 ounces). Satin finished clip point recurve blade with false top edge, notched thumbrest, worked (hammered?) spine. The handle has carbon fiber scales with brown micarta inlays, does NOT have a lanyard hole. Steel is not marked, but I think it’s CPM S30V. Does not have a sheath, and would come with an Uncle Al case (shown in pics). 750.00 USD, includes PP fees and shipment through FedEx

Rob Patton forged Rifleman's Fighter. Around 9.84” blade (9.45” cutting edge), 15.0” OAL. Weight: 269 (= 9.5 ounces). I got this from EDC Knives around 2005. Rob Patton was an ABS JS (now retired from knifemaking) who did excellent work, IMHO – not flashy, but still beautiful and very functional and effective. This knife was differentially forged from a file, and still shows the original teeth (if that is what one calls them? – see pics) on the spine and near the hilt. Steel, I think, is W2. Beautiful hamon lines. Blade is not marked (probably because his usual “PATTON” logo would have gone on the teeth?). Full tang construction, handle is tiger eye maple, contoured and sort of sculpted? (see pics). Guard looks to be in blue steel. Comes with its own leather sheath, reinforced with metal, worked in an old frontier style. Excellent condition, handle has 1-2 light dings, and guard has some discoloration – I’d rate it at 95%. 850 USD, includes PP fees and shipment through FedEx

Jerry Hossom Hunter Killer. Around 7.95” blade (7.32” cutting edge), 14.20” OAL. Weight: 432 g (= 15.24 ounces). I got this first hand from Jerry’s table at Blade 2007 or 2008. Knife features very nicely shaped and matched cocobolo scales with mosaic pins, and lanyard hole. Hand rubbed satin finished blade with notched thumb rest and sharpened top edge, .182" blade stock and 1.833" blade depth, full tapered tang construction. Fits, and feels, very nicely in hand. Balance is right behind the guard. Blade is marked “J. Hossom” and “Duluth, GA” on one side. Steel should be 154 CM (Jerry usually used either 154 CM or 3V, and marked the 3V blades with a “V” – this is not marked, plus I remember it NOT being 3V). Comes with the Rowe’s leather sheath shown in pics, that I had Kenny make when I bought it. Excellent conditions. 1,350 USD, includes PP fees and shipment through FedEx or other equivalent
