Loudest knife when flicking/flipping open?

A MicroTech Halo V and Socom Elite get my vote.

The action on my ProTech and Benchmade (and even my MicroTech Stitch) pales in comparison to the Halo and Socom.

I have some autos and speedsafes that are loud, but I don’t think any can compare to my 0909. That thing packs a punch when I open it 🤜

That Pro Tech Strider does have impressive acoustics - mine opens with authority; all my Pro Techs do but that is the largest blade I have on one of their autos.

MT's also can generate spousal annoyance relatively well. Interesting thread, not something I have ever really cared much about, but some apparently do.
Agree w PT Strider, loud as hell!

My ZT 0350 and Pro-Tech TR-5 SA.1 are loud in different ways, but probably about equally loud. The TR-5 has a much stronger spring and an aluminum body, while the 0350 has a bigger blade and are larger contact area when it locks up.

I kinda like how loud they are. :D

My wife absolutely hates my WE mini Synergy, it opens with a very profound “thwack”.

My WE Vapor also fires with a nice, "crack"!

The loudest knife by a wide, wide margin was my old Camillus Cuda Maxx. That thing sounded like the reinforced blast doors at Cheyenne Mountain closing whenever I flicked it open. It was more of a "thud", than a "click". I'm sure the sheer size of it had something to do with that.

Sadly, it is one of the few knives I sold a long time ago, and I regret selling it.

This pic was "borrowed" from another BF thread for reference only - not my knife and not my pic:
