Love of small EDC knives. Whats your favorite?

IMG_0182.JPG I must admit, I have many small knives and I have trouble picking a favorite. I cycle through my collection so something old becomes new again after a while. Threads like this encourage/enable me to dig through my stash and give pocket time to an old friend. The most badass of my small knives is the mini cleaver Kutzu by Quest Knives.

For work, I am carrying a small Old Timer stockman, and it is the older Schrade USA version. For casual I usually carry my Al Mar Nomad.

That things a little beast

Tough call between my Small Sebenza Classic and CRK Small Insingo. As an edc knife, I like the Insingo a little more (thinner, somewhat more functional blade for my typical edc use) but I have so much history with the Classic I'd have to pick that one as my all time favorite.

I don't think that anything compares to a Bradford guardian 3 for fixed and a manix 2 lw for folders . Jmho

I like my Sage 5, Para 3, Mini Grip (w/ AWT scales) and Dragonfly 2 G-10 for my small folders. Actually, they are my main folders. I rarely carry my Grizzly Creek.

That is absolutely killer looking!

Mini grip today. Not super small, but looks positively petite next to my typical work carry.

PSA: Don't stand in harvester ant beds, you'll get bit. If you do get bit, don't drop your knife. You'll get bit again trying to retrieve it.

Benchmade 940/943. It carries so small but it's actually got a pretty big blade for it's weight, disappears in pocket.

Small is kind of relative for me, but to me "small" generally means a sub 3.5" folder (closed). I have several small knives and I have to say my favorite is the little GEC #14 Lick Creek Boys knife with two blades. I have tried the "peanut" size which are sub-3" closed. Just not big enough. I generally carry a "medium" sized knife. But many here would consider the large 108mm SAK a large knife and the Adventurer is my favorite and most carried at about 3.25" closed.

I really like the Spydero Native 5 and Delica 4 size but they are medium sized knives to me. "Small" modern knives tend to be larger closed than small traditional knives. Basically they are putting larger handles with a smaller blade.
