Both are extremely nicely made and designed, well done! I am holding myself back from buying, damn it hurts.

Those will go fast once the BF boys get online.

I am back looking at them, Dr. D shaking my head what to do. Damn tough call.

The canoe's not taking on water yet, but all the knives are starting to way it down to the water line.

Two examples of finely made knives and good materials! I am surprised one or both of them have not sold already....

Where is Hondo3, he normally likes what we like?

Dr. D...problem is I got some others on the go I need to pay for still.

Spear & Dr. , You guys are crackin me up ! Where do you hang out on the forum ? I'm going to have to pop in on you . You're my kind of people :) BTW , Hondo is here , in my shop , as we speak :D Not physically but his spirit is here. Keeping watch on his new one thats in the works :D .

Yeah, my canoe has very little freeboard too. I only have one hanging fire now but I just got one from Butch,J, Phillip, and Gerry. It's a sickness and only get's worse. There is no cure-only occasional treatment.

Beautiful blades David!

If you dont own any of David's knives, I can testify to his work, it is awesome, you wont be disappointed.

I've been eyeing these as well, great price on two very nice knives. I am tempted to buy both as well.

Dr. I'm about 80 mi. NW as the crow flies from Rapid River. Near Keewanaw Bay (off of Lk. Superior) . You might know where Houghton/Hancock area is (Home of Michigan Tech)? I'm a little south of that. Its all white here now (snow :( ) and probably will be for the next 5-6 months. Good Morning Ed. Thanks for the compliments !

Nice knives, David! But you've got some weird reflections going on. :D
I love them both, but I think personally I'd like the maple dyed darker.

Dr. , PM sent following this post . Phillip , I hear ya about the reflections :) I just couldn't seem to get rid of those weird stripes in the wood ;) if its on the Blade you're talking about it could be my shop interior walls & ceiling (bright white steel w / ribs) . Pics just don't do the maple justice. The fiddleback is some of the most irridescent that I have used. Every move of the Blade gives a different look. I'm going to do some experimenting with some products I found in a muzzleloaders refinishing supply house on some of the next maple I use. Everyone likes it different though. I'm doing a small Damascus Blade with Myrtlewood (what I have is very light colored like the maple) and he wants it as light as I can keep it so I guess its all personel preference ;)

Oops sorry about the spelling above.

Dr. D held back but then released and struck with style once again. That would have been my choice also the green micarta.

Sorry Dr. D I back you up on this one, PP has been working on two knives for me and I owe him payment on the second one still, so I have to hold back on buying more.

No apology necessary (I used spell check for "necessary") SpearZ,without spellcheck I'm not too hot with the spelling either.Oh,and I use one finger on each hand to type. You might call me a real "pecker" :) And Thanks Dr. , Thanks a lot.

Phillip is also doing one for me but he won't take any money yet. I keep wanting to send him money and he says"Not yet".
Phillip's knife should be one nice Christmas gift for my best friend.
David's will be a gift for my oldest son.

You're welcome David. It looks like a really nice Loveless.

I'm here! I'm here! I've just been busy trading PMs with David. He's going to make something for me. :)

These two are right up my alley. I love the lines of the Loveless hunter. As always, David's execution is great. These are the first leather sheaths I've seen come out of his shop. I've got to say that I'm impressed. It's very nice work.

David, I'm at school right now, re-organising my classroom, and trying to get ready for report cards. Since there aren't any kids around, I'm free to carry what I like. I've got my little KC-14 on my belt. :)

It's that funny PP is making a knife for you and me Dr. D

Your stlye shows threw again Dr. D with your Christmas presents of knives.

I am giving one of the knives I bought recently to my best friends son for Christmas as his first sheath knife ever, he will be all smiles.
