Photos Loveless style knives?

I like Loveless knives and those styled after him and I like George Herron's style and knives but I have to disagree; George Herron has his own style / look distinctive from Loveless's. I prefer the Herron style.

These are as close as I'll get though, from a student of Herron's, Geno Denning.

Not to toot my own horn or anything, but I'm working on making some Loveless style knives that are much closer to Herron! Message me if you'd like to hear more about it, I'll take any excuse to yap about it!

Two of the Loveless collaborated Gerbers. The folder is the Gerber Loveless Folder - Black Eagle Limited Edition. It came out in 1986. The Loveless Folder was introduced in 1984. The fixed blade is the Gerber Loveless Dropped Hunter Limited Edition. There were 2001 made in year 2001. The sheath is not the original made by Gerber that was sold with the Dropped Hunter. Just a custom I paired with it. IMG_7112.JPG

George made beautiful knives. Here are a few of his patterns made by South African knifemaker Niell Schutte.

I like Vojta's interpretation of Loveless knives. He is easy to communicate with and fit/ finish is excellent.

Absolutely gorgeous!

I'm a big fan on one particular Loveless design...

So much eye candy in this thread ....

Not sure if Loveless did Bowies, but I still think of my Colson as Loveless inspired :)

Here’s my Semi-Skinner that was made by Jim Merritt after Bob’s passing. He said the scales were from the last piece of a huge chunk of rag micarta that Bob purchased in the 70’s, there was a Randall style hunter made at the same time that had some as well. (Coop’s photo on bottom)

This is arguably one of my favorite models ever, a really visually appealing model, the Loveless Hideout. This one here is an amazing representation of a Hideout. It has beautiful Mammoth bark ivory handles. Made by Robert Appleby. I got it on the secondary but Robert if you see this, you’re very talented. Thank you sir.
