I have most of the KPL products, and you think the heavy would be better than the CRK grease?KPL Heavy![]()
I've found the kpl heavy to be quite satisfactory in my small 31.I have most of the KPL products, and you think the heavy would be better than the CRK grease?
I also think OCD-4-EDC did a video on using their thicker lube product on a CRK, and I'll need to go back and watch that video.
I have the Slick 'Em All so I'll have to try it on my new Umnumzaan. I also have KPL light and heavy.I have been using and really enjoying the ODC-4-EDC Slick 'Em All on my last couple CRKs, a Seb 21 and a large Inkosi. Definitely prefer it to KPL (heavy or standard) in any knife with washers. Worth noting that the Inkosi is a KnifeCenter exclusive with the factory cerakote, and while the washers are getting nice and shiny, I think the cerakote still has some "wearing in" to do before the action reaches its peak. Every time I disassemble, clean, and re-lube, it feels a little better than the last. The Sebenza always felt great, if anything it had a bit of a soft detent.
Just a video of a guy mixing crk grease with nano 10 oil and swears it is the best of both worlds. Will the 10wt nano hold up for any amount of time? Seems like it would need to be done on a regular basis to me? It’s pretty thin
