Lubricating AXIS folders

The best thing you could possibly use to lubricat the axis lock and inner mechanism is White Lightening. If posstible take the knife apart and put this where the spring is on the plastic and on the metal liner. Pretty much everything in that area and then wipe it off. I then add 3 in 1 to the washers for smooth action there. Its the only way to go!!!!!!

White lightining contains WAX. I used to use it on my bike chains until I realized that it built up and therefore collected dirt. The stuff sucks, but, glad you like it!

I have used the Blue LUbe just recently on a about 3 Benchmade Axis lock knives. It worked very well and It made my 707 which was a little stiff in opening extremly smooth and quick. I don't really know how rust preventive it is but only time will tell
RKH.

I use Kroil by Kano Labs. I have used Kroil in the bore of my guns for years as it is a very thin oil that seeps into crack and nooks that most other oils can't get into. It's a fine lubricatant.... doesn't attrack dust and leaves behind a thin layer everywhere it runs. Kroil soaks into metal. I've got gallons of the stuff at home.
