Lum Chinese users?

I think the Lum Chinese is a great looking knife, but don't like the way its shape (big in the front, small in the back) makes it want to squirt out of your hand like a wet bar of soap. That was my experience, anyway, though I'm in the minority. I sold mine. I do think it is one of the best looking folders ever made, though.

I Carry mine most of the time...I was lucky enough to have picked up one of the first runs right out of the factory. I have used mine for every thing I every needed to cut, slit, etc!!! The blade I have touched up a few times and I have to say it holds its edge better then any steel I have.... I guess I have never done the super hard chopping action that my bigger INFI steel blades have seen, but for a small EDC this baby is hard to beat!!! The black coating on the clip lasted around a week looking perfect then slowly came into scruff and scratch so I polished it up with some 200 grit and it has looked great ever since. The alumnite black coating has surprised me and held up fanatic. It looks about like the day I picked it up. The handle fits in my hand great and gives me a good grip when deep cuts are needed. Over all a Great knife. I want that G10 model and will surely be picking one of them up when they are released.

Mine is still sitting in my knife chest. I need to work up the courage to use it. The first scratch on this one is going to really hurt though.

I have one of the blue Almite (euro market) Lums & have carried/used it a little. (Wish I'd kept it minty fresh in the event of resale). I liked the design enough to have a fixed blade version made for me (by our own Chiro75 when he was actively making knives). Fixed the grip issue by having a nice index finger cutout done. Killer EDC/utility blade. Would LOVE a production G-10 model w/ grippy slabs.

the dejavoo has a weak liner lock that caused slight front-back blade play...
how's the liner on this one compare? i would think it's better considering it's a spyderco, but i just gotta know.

I'm glad to see that everyone has enjoyed this knife and that it sold well for Spydeco. Ironically I was never able to get one.
