Lum Chinese ZDP189

is it "Lum Chinese ZDP189 Folder" because it's designed by Mr. Lum and made in china, or is chinese just part of the model name?
 
It's designed by Lum in the style of traditional chinese folders, but made in Seki City, Japan like the rest of the Spydercos.
