This Guy is somethin else ! He made The mistake of thinkin he was gonna get away with posting A Bold Face Lie about me and nothin would happen. Well ED your wrong ! I posted a reply to your comments and to the few who stood behind you without hearing the other side of the story ! I really don't know where you get off postin such Bullshit ! I have tried to send you packages, that were only returned , because of a change of address ( in which I was not informed). I have called and left messages( not returned). How much more do you want. Get Real, and atleast post the truth ! The attention your gettin this way, will not benifit you in the long run. Find a new means of enjoyment ! To all of you who read his post about me, I will say no more about this except it is a BOLD FACE LIE ! Thanks ! DRU
 
It looks like we need Ed to fill us in on why there are two such differing sides to this situation. From the way this looks, I would say that there has been some missed communication between the two of you. Hopefully it can be sorted out to the satisfaction of both people.

Dru, I don't know you, but you sound like a stand up guy. Ed is a well respected member of this forum. I will wait until I hear from him before I form any opinion about what has happened here. I hope others will do the same.
 
Keith, As was stated, It is true that Ed is still owed a knife, and I would be very happy to get one to him. As I wrote, I sent many knives to Atlanta Show last weekend, and tried to inform Ed where he could go to get one. I left several messages on his cell answering sys. He never returned my calls ! This is what bothers me about this guy, I have sent two packages, and tried to line up a way he could get his knife. I made the effort, yet he has the nerve to post such a slandering Lie about the whole situation ! He tries to make out like he's the poor ol soul who got burnt. Well don't feel sorry for this guy, This could have been easy without all the lies and the poor penmanship this man chose to use ! He should find a new means of enjoyment ! DRU
 
Well, it would seem that now you are doing the same thing you berated Ed for.

Hopefully things can be worked out. Sir, I do not know you, but I know Ed. He is a good guy. Ed has many friends here, I am proud to count myself among them.

I was referring to the fact that you made a post calling Ed a name. You had already said Ed should not have done that to you. Therefore you were doing what you were upset with Ed about.

I was simply making a point, and standin' up for a bud. As I said, I hope you 2 can work things out. Ed is a great guy.
 
To me, you need to contact each other on the phone to work this out. It seems like you, Dru are making a LARGE effort in trying to fix this problem, and things arent working out it's surronded by a game of telephone tag you need to decide on a time where you BOTH can both sit down and talk on the phone, with no distractions till EVERY THING is dealt with and make sure you BOTH understand whats happening.

Dru you seem like a good man to me, I would do business with you dispite this problem. It's not your fault he's not there when your try to call him.

Best of luck getting this fixed.
 
I've done business with Ed... everything was exactly as spelled out in our deal. I will do business with Ed again anytime. I don't know what the situation of this particular GB&U post is, but I KNOW that Ed is an upstanding individual.

We all do business together, and I really see no need to slash at each others throats.I am sure Ed is an ok guy, when we made the trade as mentioned, both of us came away happy. I owe, thats a fact ! Am very willing to pay up !I enjoy the Knife world very much, and have many many friends and makers in which I deal with on a daily basis.Hopefully this episode will be resolved soon and all will be well. I thank you for your input on the situation. DRU
 
Some of us spend a lot of time on the road...a lot of time.

Sometimes you're in a foreign country or another place where the phones don't work, or the computers don't work...

Sometimes you drop your phone or laptop, and they don't work...I've done both this year, twice with the phone (yes, once was in the toilet, yuck!)...

Sometimes you're just 'incommunicado'...these aren't holidays, this is work.

People get frustrated with me because they can't 'get in touch'...I get frustrated with Ed, because we can't get in touch...that's life, and it's fun...if you keep it that way.

Yeah, I thought your name looked familiar...

Moi? Hanging out and hiding out...Oregon was sweet, Idaho was better. But, as always, the neighbors get nosey and it gets time to mosey...

Barbados was good for quite awhile, 4 kids down there even, and Maui wasn't too bad either...but the money finally ran out and the Fed's never rest, so I had to hit the road looking for work...well, here I am, on the road, once again...

Yeah, I'm doing ok...still have the limp though, I hit that tree pretty hard...

I meant to get back to you on the money thing too. I hate to say it, but back in '91 I hooked up with a guy named Mike Milken, and invested in some bonds...they turned out to be junk, sorry bud.

The China thing was a ruse...James just wouldn't let up, so I had the (ex) G/F throw him a cold trail. Say, I heard they ended up getting hitched! I also heard he hates the oldest boy, says he looks just like me...go figure? ;)

Well, I really have to go...I hear a loud knock at the door, gotta run.

Dan, sorry to hear the whole investment deal went South. Specially whe you actually fled North. My buddy Mukluk in the Yukon said he saw you jogging by recently. He gave me a jingle on his Satellite Phone to say you had stopped by his Igloo. I told him to give you a Caribou 'doggy bag' to take with you on your journey... but that bastard forgot!!!

Drew called I missed him. It appears we have worked out the deal.
I will post a notice on the outcome.

You say you sent a package and it was returned.
If you had not waited 6 to 8 months to send it that would not have happend. If you had ever opened any of my e mails you would have known I had moved. I sent over a dozen e mails telling you I was moving. Not one answer from you ever.

Next time I heard from you was after my 1st post about this.
You then keep saying you were sending a Randall to make the deal right. You said that for over 6 months. Still no knife. Not once did you return my phone calls during that time. It's pretty easy I told you any Randall that was not junk would work.

I have spent over a year trying to get the knife. You have been saying it's on the way for over a year. Here is my number, 228-623-0104. Call me if no answer leave a number to call you back.
Even better send the Randall as promised for the last year.

I will be very hard to get on the phone. We found my dad on the floor when we came in from Blade. My phone does not work in ICU

Dru I told you I posted a notice that we were working this out.
All you had to do was send the knife. Why you chose to shift the blame I don't know. Now I ask are you sending the knife? If so when?

Dru, this looks like it will be pretty simple to get this whole thing solved. Now just make sure that you get Ed that Randall ASAP and I am sure that Ed will let everyone know that things have worked out.

ED, First let me say, I am sorry to hear that your father took ill ! Hope all goes well with him ! Now, I want you to know That I am not trying to shift the blame, and the reason I posted a week later, is because I was just informed of the slanderous post yesterday.I have every right to answer your remarks and make clear to all, what this really is about and how it has been mis represented by the comments you insinuated.I will not lay back and have someone call me a crook or any other low ball name ! This is why I Posted yesterday, A week later !Believe me , I would have came at you alot faster, if I had known.I have your number now, and will call. I also want to leave you my number in case I can not get through ! (440)366-5868. I want to talk to make real clear what will be sent. I want you to be satisifed completely.I don't want any further confrontation about which knife was sent.
