M-43

Vintage khukuri are around and not too hard to find, but certain models, like the GI Mk. II, command a premium. It's getting worse too.

On the HI M43, the standard has been around 17.5-18.5" in my experience. The 15" models are definitely fewer and I believe pretty recent. They look handy.

Various auction sites are where I look, seen these Mk 2's going for around 85-110 bucks on average, different khuks demanding different prices. They're typically mixed in with a bunch of lion-pommeled import/tourist khuks.

Dunno if we're allowed to list them here. One that rhymes with Sneezebay is a good one for starters.

Thanks again, didn't know if there were khukuri-specific or vintage-specific sites.

I'll start looking on Squeezebae. :D

Wow.
That was a sad excursion.
Fraud, tourist, beat-to-spit.

This may take some time....

Probably more appropriate for the cantina, but I'll say it takes a patience and a sharp eye. My best Mk II was grabbed at a good price because the pics were so poor it was hard to tell what it was.
