Hello guys,
I decided to make a budget knife. Without much decoration. Sometimes it's relaxing.
Blade – 184 layers hand forged of 52100 and 75Ni8 Damascus steel. Differentially heat treated with clay. 59-61 HRC.
Handle – Impregnated rotten oak (transection) and stabilused poplar burl (decking technology).
Guard – Bronze.
Separator – Bronze.
The sheath made of 3.5 - 4 mm. cow leather my friend George Petkov.

If you want a larger image, you can click on the photo.
On the upper side of the line are centimeters - inches are from the bottom.
The price is 200 + $ 20 extra travel expenses with a tracking number and insurance.
Paypal only please at this address: mik.kochev@gmail.com You can contact me in the same mailbox.
The knife goes to the first "I'll take it."

Thanks’ for watching.
Mike.

I like it Mike - I think you would sell a lot of these if you made it slightly less ornate and less than $200.

Mother nature has got you covered with that rotten oak Rorschach image, nicely done.

If I was not overrun with 4-5" knives... You have to love what you do, or you will not do it well, and will soon tire of it. But you have to be paid for your time, too (A very famous gunsmith told me this when visiting my shop) or you won't be able to continue, either. I think your price is good, considering the really superior quality of work you're doing. A series? Different blade shapes?

For that level of craftsmanship at that price point is doing the buyer a favor. Beautiful knife!!

I think you misread my post Mike. The suggestion is sound - and it doesn’t reflect any adverse view on the quality or value of the one you have for sale.

My answer was in principle, Camillus. No bad feelings.

Thank you all for your support and understanding.

The knife is for you bwlacey. Tomorrow at this time I'll send you the tracking number. Thank you.
