that's a neat interpretation of a great design, and very nicely carried out!

Personally, I think that shortening the blade by about an inch would be a slight improvement, but that's just me.

Lorien....Most of the Price pieces we see photos of appear to have 6-7' blades, so this one
looks a bit long.....But....without the extra length this one would be butt heavy....as is it ballances
right at the guard..........Thanks for noticing. I had intended to mention this, but forgot...
 
Lorien, Russ' original drawing and our discussion was an 8-inch blade and 5-inch handle. The integral design was the instigator, as Russ noted.

Another deviation from more traditional would be the ridged spine.

A nice elongated take on the Price SF style Bowie. Very well executed and elegant.
I like your use of Damascus for this piece.
