M390/CF Military, 59 left!

There was a Para 2 a while ago with CF scales and S90V, and there's one with M390 and blue G10 that's still available from the dealer that commissioned them. There hasn't been one with M390 and CF unless you Frankenstein one together. Just run a search on "paramilitary 2 m390" to find it (I'm not sure if there are forum rules prohibiting linking directly to certain dealers or not).

I have done the search but I thought someone was stating that a PM2 was done with CF and M390 and I never seen it....I have the blue one but maybe the person was referring to the CF S90V one!

I might have also been thinking that it was a Para Military in CF and M390....:)

I like the CF so I was curious!

I didn't need another, but went to look because I forgot what I paid them for my two. Yeah I know:o

It didn't show the price. Little help please...could someone please tell me what I paid for my knife? :p

- thinking it was around $220, but am not sure at all.

Same-same, great stuff. This is the best, or maybe second best, Military that Spyderco has ever made.

Out of curiosity, which one do you maybe like better? S90v/CF?

The possible tie for #2 or even #1 ahead of this one would be the one I swapped into the KW Ti/G10 handles (I put the M4 blade into the CF/CF handles). I have been going back and forth between the Ti/G10 and the all-CF. They almost seem like different knives, due to the differences in weight and balance. Hard to say better/not better...just different.

Which one has an easier to engage lock (to close the blade), the Ti handle or the regular liner lock in the CF handle?

The linerlock is much easier. There was only one production run of the Ti/G10 framelock and I have never handled any of the all-Ti framelocks, so my sample size for comparison is about as small as it could get. :) The recent linerlock Military production (starting some time after the S90V sprint, based on my random purchases) seem to have gotten much easier to unlock.

I should point out that while my current stable of Militarys covers a pretty long period, it's a pretty small number of knives, so all I can report is how my specific knives compare. :) Like the Para2, I think it's pretty clear that Spyderco's CQI program in the Golden plant has really paid off in concrete results. The more recent Militarys (at least the ones that I and my sons have bought) have really been consistently outstanding for production knives.
