M4 Smock exclusive just went live

Mine has a rattle too. I’m pretty sure I know where it’s coming from just need to figure out a fix.

The rattle is coming from the blade stop that sits near the push button. The little silver thing here.

I feel like my rattle is coming from another pin closer to the pivot. I can’t describe the pin other than the butt end of a nail. Idk. I’m gonna take mine apart when my bearings come in later this week and figure it out

The TiCN coating is nice but a fingerprint magnet. For grins, I threw in $12 worth of skiff bearings and I'll be darned if they don't make a slightly noticeable difference. It's pretty smooth.

I like flippers and the zero-profile tab on this is very well done. Perfect geometry. But my muscle memory looks for the lock bar with my thumb every time. Not used to the button lock yet.


Passes the apple slicing and coring test and the blade length is perfect for my index finger along the spine.

It rides a little tall above my pocket. Might need a blacked out low ride clip...

All in all... Slick knife. I like it.

Any recommendations for a deep carry clip that matches the TiCN coating on the blacked out m4, hopefully as well as the factory clip?

It’s matte but I like Lynch clips. The pm3 version fits the smock perfectly.

So, embarrassed to say I managed to lose the spring for the 2nd detent while putting new scales on. Any way to get a replacement?
